Windpomp Fees 2016

The yearly Limpopo Windpompfees is hosted by “Euphoria Christelike Onafhanklike Skool” and takes place in Naboomspruit at Euphoria Golf Estate & Hydro.

The name of the festival is based on the symbolism of the windpomp (afrikaans word meaning windmill) and representative of the fact that school produces “water” for itself which will then flow into the rest of the community.

The festival is the biggest in the Limpopo Region and boasts with two hundred selected exhibitors of which CEOCO in collaboration with Weber, was one of the supporting companies. This year the festival was held on 28 - 29 April 2016. The Limpopo farming community supplies CEOCO of sunflower seed and is closely involved with the CEOCO Sustainable Agricultural Programme to meet the requirements set by our customers.

Due to this partnership CEOCO feels compelled to support the regions social responsibility activities. To this end CEOCO was part of the 2 day golf event and hosting with Weber a Crocodile Steak Braai setting a new World Guinness Record of braaing 1000 tail steaks.

All proceedings were donated to the cause of the festival.
